#Hashtags on Facebook – What you need to know for your business
On June 12th, 2013 Facebook announced support of #Hashtags. Now whether you like it or not, it would appear hashtags are here to stay. I was against to it myself for quite sometime. I didn't get it or see the point, but now I see the big picture... Twitter invented the categorization tool called hash tagging or #hashtags. Now when you use the “#” symbol in front of any single word or connected word combination on Facebook, they will now be clickable and will take you to a Hashtag generated Search Page in Facebook (much like a tag or category link in WordPress). (For Example: #wordpress #social #plugins)
